Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support our power distribution equipment with on-site and remote service.

The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, safety, and a customer-first mindset, with travel across the US and Canada and training at the Aurora, OH location. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with electric power systems, ability to read diagrams, and familiarity with PCB programming.

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems – Required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – Required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service – Preferred.
• Clean driving record – Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Static transfer switches servicing and maintenance.
• Power distribution equipment maintenance and testing.
• Remote power panels servicing and commissioning.
• Provide customer support on site, via email and phone.
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in LayerZero system.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
• LayerZero 24/7 incident response support.
