Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel nationwide and help customers organize maintenance shops. You will install inventory systems, train customers on scanners and apps, and build lasting relationships while visiting sites Monday through Friday across the United States.

Requires a valid driver's license and high school diploma; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and up to 90% travel; compensation is $25 per hour with benefits and opportunities for

Qualifications

• No prior Field Service experience required; we will train you.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% during scheduled work weeks.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds in active shop environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and organize inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Identify, label, stock, and optimize maintenance products for improved workflow.
• Train customers on our ordering technology, including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Traveling Monday through Friday to customer locations throughout the United States while building strong customer relationships.
