Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel nationwide and help customers organize and optimize their maintenance shops. You will be the face of Imperial at customer sites, working with our Sales team to deliver practical, hands-on solutions.

You don't need prior field service experience; we will train you. A valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to travel up to 90% are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in active shop environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and organize inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Identify, label, stock, and optimize maintenance products for improved workflow.
• Train customers on ordering technology, including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Travel Monday through Friday to customer locations across the United States while building strong customer relationships.
