Job summary

Calibration Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites for start-up, calibration, light installation, and repair of gas detection systems. You will train plant personnel and prepare reports for PSM documentation.

The role requires frequent travel, with 40 hours guaranteed per week and up to 80% travel. Starting pay range is $30–$35/hour, plus overtime, weekend options, PTO, and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Understand electronic circuit and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, relay logic, and industrial control systems.
• Experience using a digital multimeter and troubleshooting 120VAC/24VDC circuits.
• Ability to work in industrial environments and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and Acrobat PDF.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair gas detection systems and sensors.
• Translate system operation scope and user functions to plant personnel.
• Process safety documentation reports to meet OSHA standards.
• Contact manufacturers/distributors to maintain/calibrate equipment.
• Determine best long-term repair solutions and translate using CTI products.
