Job summary

Calibration Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, repair, and train customers on gas detection systems across the United States. The role is primarily field-based with travel and occasional overnight stays.

You will troubleshoot electrical circuits, read schematics, and generate safety reports while maintaining OSHA-compliant documentation. Starting pay is $30–$35/hour with overtime, per diem, mileage reimbursement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Understand electronic circuit and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Experience using a digital multimeter and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair gas detection systems and sensors.
• Translate system operation to plant personnel and prepare safety reports.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for maintenance and calibration.
• Determine best long-term repair methods using CTI products when possible.
