American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Multispecialty Ultrasound/Echo Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital in Texas. You will perform general, OB/fetal, vascular, and echocardiography studies across adult and pediatric patients, with on-call requirements and a 4x10 schedule.

Candidates must have ARDMS/RDCS, 1 year of experience, BLS, Epic EMR proficiency, and a compact state license. The role includes travel between facilities with housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience.
ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS certification required.
BLS certification required.
Epic EMR experience required.
Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission.
License required if applicable.
Proficiency in OB/GYN imaging including fetal anatomy survey.
Experience with general ultrasound (abdomen, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas).
Vascular duplex studies including carotid, aorta, upper/lower extremities.
Renal/pelvic imaging including transvaginal and bladder studies.
Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

Multispecialty ultrasound covering general, OB/fetal, breast, vascular and echocardiography.
Adult and pediatric imaging, including echo and contrast echo.
On-call weeknights and full weekend coverage; block schedule.
May float between sister facilities within the health system.
Perform diagnostic imaging across multiple specialties with GE equipment.

American Traveler is hiring a Multispecialty Ultrasound/Echo Technologist with experience across general, OB/fetal, vascular, and echocardiography imaging for a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience required
ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS certification required
BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
License required if applicable
Proficiency in OB/GYN imaging including fetal anatomical survey, amniotic fluid index, and all trimesters
Experience with general ultrasound including abdominal, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and pediatric abdomen/pelvis
Vascular ultrasound skills including carotid, aorta, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous duplex studies
Renal/pelvic imaging experience including transvaginal and bladder studies
Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Experience assisting with paracentesis and ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration preferred

Responsibilities

Short term acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds and Level IV Trauma Center designation
Multispecialty ultrasound role covering general ultrasound, fetal/OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiography studies
Adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill procedures performed
Patient population includes adult, pediatric, obstetric, and high risk OB cases
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Expected patient ratio of 8:1
On-call required weeknights 5pm-8am and full 24-hour coverage on weekends
Block schedule required
Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
Epic EMR experience required
May float between sister facilities within the health system
Perform diagnostic imaging across multiple specialties including OB, vascular, abdominal, and cardiac echo studies
Free parking available in any unrestricted space
Street clothes may be worn to the facility with scrubs provided for OR
Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius for travel rate eligibility
Can only be submitted to one Providence facility at a time
