American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for a critical access hospital. The role requires BLS, CCI, and RDCS certification with at least 1 year of experience.

Performs adult and pediatric echocardiography across acute care, outpatient, and emergency settings with a 1:1 patient ratio. Shifts are 3x10 hours on Tue, Thu, and Fri, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, using Philips equipment and Cerner charting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer.
• BLS, CCI, and RDCS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with 2-D, 3-D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, and Pulsed Wave Doppler echo studies.
• Proficiency in Bubble Study, TEE, and Pharmacologic and Treadmill Stress Echo.
• Experience with pediatric echo including scanning complex anomalies and post-surgical repairs.
• Skilled in LV Strain/LV Volume calculations.
• Comfortable performing procedures in ICU/ED settings with isolation precautions and PPE.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography across acute care, outpatient and emergency settings.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio in a critical access hospital.
• Work 3x10 hour day shifts: Tue, Thu and Fri, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Operate Philips equipment and use Cerner charting system.
• Adhere to scope of practice, wear grey scrubs, and arrange parking during orientation.

• Performs adult and pediatric echocardiography across acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 3x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Uses Philips equipment
• Cerner charting system
• No floating required outside scope of practice
• Grey scrub color required
• Parking permit required at no cost, arranged during orientation
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
• Previous perm or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• Time off requests should be discussed directly with the facility manager
