Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or CCI certified) to perform echocardiograms in a non-interventional cardiology department in Bullhead City, AZ.

Requirements include RDCS/CCI certification, an applicable license, at least 1 year of recent echocardiography experience, no expiring certifications within 30 days, and no 90-day work gaps in the past year. On-site, 3x12 shifts with on-call nights are included.

Qualifications

• RDCS or CCI certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent echocardiography experience.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms in a non-interventional cardiology department.
• Capable of performing at least 12 echo studies per day with 10–15 minute studies.
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) on Fri/Sat/Sun.
• On-call required 3 nights per week; may float as needed.
• Use Cardio PAC EMR; edit and file EKG/holo/cardiology records and apply billing charges.
• Primary duties include echocardiograms, EKGs, and holter hookups.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with RDCS or CCI certification and at least 1 year of recent experience to perform echocardiograms in a non-interventional cardiology department.

Requirements

• RDCS or CCI certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required in echocardiography
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Non-Interventional Cardiology department setting
• Capable of performing at least 12 echo studies per day using a simple protocol with each study taking 10-15 minutes
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• On-call required 3 nights per week
• May float as needed
• EMR used is Cardio PAC
• No option for 48-hour guarantee or block scheduling
• Primary responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, EKGs, and holter monitor hookups and scanning
• Responsibilities also include editing and filing EKG recordings and cardiology records and applying appropriate billing charges
• Black scrub color required
• Maximum RTO request is 1 week with no blackout dates specified
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Travelers who worked at this facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
