Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience in adult echocardiography for a day-shift hospital assignment.

Responsibilities include adult echo, 3-D echo, bubble studies, and imaging with contrast, plus stress echo and TEE. You will work with GE equipment and may float to nearby facilities; travel and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience.
• ARDMS or CCI certification and RDCS-Adult credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• Compact state license must be in hand at submission.
• May be required to float between facilities near the site.
• Former staff may travel after a 3-month wait.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echo, 3-D echo, bubble studies and imaging with contrast.
• Conduct pharmacologic stress echo, M-mode, TEE and treadmill stress echo.
• Operate GE echocardiography equipment; support ED and outpatient care.
• May float to sister facilities as needed; epically ensure Epic EMR use.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience in adult echocardiography for a day-shift hospital assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• ARDMS or CCI certification and RDCS-Adult required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT-Sonography certification preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• License required if applicable
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including support for the Emergency Department
• Performs adult echo, 3-D echo, bubble studies, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echo, RVIT, RVOT, TEE, and treadmill stress echo
• Uses GE equipment
• Epic experience preferred
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
• Must be able to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to starting the assignment
• Candidates must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered for the local rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
