Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full‑time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse for Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RNs and staff, and travel between facilities in Illinois as needed.

The role requires an active IL LPN license, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of LPN experience, with corrections/travel nursing preferred. Eligible benefits are included for full‑time team members.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with active Illinois license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background).
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience in clinic, hospital, or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address health needs.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health concerns.
• Travel between facilities in Illinois per contract needs.

Each assignment will be restricted to one location.
