Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.

Travel assignments will occur across Illinois facilities; candidates must hold an active IL LPN license, be located 90+ miles from the facility, and be able to obtain security clearance and CPR/BLS certification, along with

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active Illinois license.
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience in a clinic, hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred and travel nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients under RN supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs across facilities as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and Centurion standards.
