Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Danville Correctional Center team in Danville, IL. The LPN will provide holistic care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision, moving between Illinois facilities as needed.

Travel assignments require at least 90 miles from the facility, and CPR/BLS certification is required, with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays, FSA, CE benefits, and more.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois LPN license required.
• 1+ year of LPN work experience preferred.
• Corrections or travel healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.

Responsabilités

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope.
• Work under RN and medical staff direction to address physical and behavioral needs.
• Travel between facilities within Illinois as assigned by contract.

About the Role

We are currently seeking afull-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurseto join ourCenturion Eagles Travel TeamatDanville Correctional Center in Danville, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

TheEagle (Travel team) LPNwill work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The LPNis responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
• Must be placed 90+ miles from selected facility.
• License reimbursement after 90 days employment
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
