Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor‑led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system. The role includes virtual and in‑person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, and external contractors across multiple locations.

You will use established lesson plans, maintain classroom engagement, and participate in Train‑the‑Trainer activities while coordinating with managers on schedules and logistics. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Excellent presentation and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and in-person environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans and materials during training.
• Answer participant questions and provide guidance during sessions.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and assess training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
