Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal client’s construction management system implementation. You will conduct virtual and in-person sessions for staff, project managers, engineers, and external contractors to ensure effective adoption of the new system.

The role requires strong classroom facilitation, experience with software and business process training, and the ability to support large-scale change across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Proven strong presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Able to adapt instructional techniques to varying audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, course materials, and guidelines.
• Answer questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom engagement and manage participants effectively.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfers.
• Coordinate with training managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team with government personnel and stakeholders.
• Communicate with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
