Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training in support of a Federal Government client’s implementation of a customized construction management system. You will conduct virtual and in-person training for personnel, project managers, engineering staff, construction personnel, leadership, and external contractors to ensure they can effectively use the new system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to varying audience needs.
• Experience delivering software or enterprise system training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption efforts during CMP deployment activities.
