Job summary

CDM Smith in Durham, NC seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal government client’s new construction management system, both virtually and in-person. You will train personnel, project managers, engineering staff, and external contractors to ensure they can use the new system effectively.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of related experience, strong facilitation, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 3 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Experience delivering software application training or enterprise system training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
