Flagstar Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a Columbus, OH assignment. The role involves supporting open-heart and cardiothoracic surgeries, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or surgical technology program completion; bachelor's degree preferred.
• CST credential from NBSTSA required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the scrub technologist for open-heart, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and instrument sets for cardiac surgeries.
• Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies with precision during complex cases.
• Collaborate with perfusionists and circulating staff for bypass circuit setup.
• Ensure sterile techniques and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain sterile field integrity under pressure.
