Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a Columbus, Ohio assignment. The role requires CVOR experience, cardiology instrumentation knowledge, and CPR certification, with 13 weeks of travel work and a 40-hour week.

The position involves scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in open-heart procedures including CABG, with duties spanning room setup to on-call support. Travel and housing benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or 3 years recent surgical tech experience.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum 18 months CVOR experience or CVOR-specific orientation.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures.
• Experience with CABG and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, 2nd circulating, and Heart Holder roles in the CVOR.
• Picks supplies, prepares instruments, and counts accurately.
• Obtains specimens and hands to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in on-call schedule.
