Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a surgical technologist in CV or CT surgeries.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub technologist for open-heart, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and complex instrument sets.
• Pass instruments and supplies with precision during surgeries.
• Assist perfusionists and staff with bypass circuits setup.
• Maintain sterile field and safety protocols.
