Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a multi-modality CT/Rad Tech for a busy ER radiology department. ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography certification are required, along with BLS and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

The role is a 13-week travel assignment with a Fri-Sun, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift. You’ll work in a 10-15 bed ER, performing CT and X-ray procedures and using Meditech and GE PACS for documentation.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of ER radiology experience.
• CT and X-ray proficiency with IV skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-15 bed ER within the CT/Radiology/ER building.
• 1:1 patient ratio and ER imaging coverage until midnight.
• Perform both CT and X-ray procedures as a multi-modality tech.
• Provide imaging support for ER patients and document in Meditech/GE PACS.

• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-15 bed ER within the CT/Radiology/ER building
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Rad tech coverage present until midnight
• Equipment includes GE Revolution EVO 64-slice CT, GE digital X-ray fixed unit, and portable X-ray unit
• Documentation via Meditech and GE PACS
• Fri-Sun shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Procedures performed are limited to ER only
• Perform both CT and X-ray procedures during shift as a multi-modality tech
• Provide imaging support for ER patients
• Gray scrub uniform required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
