Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a night shift contract. ARRT(R)(CT) certification and BLS are required, with at least 1 year of core experience. Active license and SSN screenings are part of the onboarding process; 50 miles from facility preferred for eligibility.

Work involves a 10-hour night schedule (2030–0700), 40 hours weekly, with weekend rotation and holidays. Orientation includes online NEO courses and departmental training; EPIC is the EMR in use.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and BLS required.
• Active license and primary source verification for all states of licensure or national certification.
• Minimum 1 year core experience, with most recent within the last year.
• Last 4 of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration.
• License required if applicable and reference from supervisor/manager within 1 year.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a night shift contract requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of core experience required, with most recent experience within the last year
• BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) required for CT/Dual Modality role
• License required if applicable
• Active license and primary source verification required for all states of licensure or national certification
• Last 4 of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within one year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Responsibilities

• 46-bed Trauma IV designated teaching hospital with Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations
• CT Scan department serving a variety of diagnoses across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• 10-hour night shifts from 2030-0700, 40 hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle
• Weekend rotation and call requirements vary and will be discussed during interview
• No floating required
• EMR: EPIC
• Department equipment includes Siemens and GE
• Work supported by nursing and transport teams
• Orientation includes online NEO courses plus 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on modality
• Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO subject to manager approval
• Black scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• High-volume department with a team-based, patient-centered care culture
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
