Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Multimodality CT Technologist for a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility, requiring 3+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification. The position covers CT and X-ray with Siemens and GE Portable equipment and Epic EMR usage.

Night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 hours, with weekend work; local candidates within 60 miles may have different rates. First-time travelers considered; housing and licensure reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years radiology experience.
• Active BLS, ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
• SCRQSA (R) and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with Siemens CT/X-ray and GE Portable equipment.
• Radiation badge required.
• Social Security Number required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work at a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility with 12 staffed beds.
• Position covers both CT and X-ray modalities.
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend requirement.
• Uses Siemens CT and X-ray equipment and GE Portable equipment.
• Epic EMR system used for charting.
• No on-call requirement.
• No floating required between units or sister facilities.
• Teal and black scrub color required.
• Free parking available on site.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position.
• Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a travel contractor.
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs.
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate.
• Non-local candidates are prioritized over local candidates.
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed.
• During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
• Approximately 4 hours of non-billable training modules required prior to start.
