Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract to support inpatient, outpatient, and ED CT procedures. Must hold ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification and a state license if required.

Responsibilities include managing CT imaging across head/neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities, with 1:1 patient care in a high-volume radiology setting. The role uses Cerner EMR, Philips PACS, and GE CT Optima 660, with 10-hour mid shifts on a 7on/7off schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification required, license required if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience required; candidates with only 1 year experience will not be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient types.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• CT procedures include Head/Neck, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, CTAs, Drainage, Biopsies, and Brain Perfusions.
• Uses Cerner EMR, Philips Enterprise PACS, GE CT Optima 660 64 Slice scanner, and contrast power injection system.
• 10-hour mid shifts on a 7on/7off schedule running Thursday through Wednesday.
• Shift times are 1:30pm-2:00am or 3:30pm-2:00am depending on the day.
• Two CT Techs scheduled during the 3:30p-2a shift.
• Every other weekend worked as part of the 7on/7off rotation.
• No floating required.
• No on-call requirements.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role.
• Orientation consists of 1-2 shifts.
• One major and one minor seasonal holiday coverage expected per policy, though specific dates off are not contractually guaranteed.
• Requests for time off beyond 7 days must be submitted via email for approval.
• Scrubs of any color are permitted.
• Free parking available on site.
• Candidates must live outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• Former permanent staff must wait 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment
