Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality CT Scan Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. Requires 2+ years in CT and diagnostic radiology, ARRT CT and diagnostic radiology certification, and BLS. Cardiac CT experience is required and both contrasted and non-contrasted CT studies will be performed.

Work in a hospital Diagnostic Radiology department with weekend day shifts and optional Monday night shifts. Travel incentives and housing support provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Experience performing contrasted and non-contrasted CT studies.
• Experience with Cardiac CT required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Diagnostic Radiology department of a hospital setting.
• Perform CT scans including contrasted and non-contrasted studies as well as cardiac CT imaging.
• Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed.
• One day orientation provided at next available date.
• Holiday coverage during the contract is mandatory unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Weekend day shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays; potential Monday night shift if needed.
• CDR: Cerner EMR usage.
• Local candidates not accepted; candidates must live >50 miles away.

American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality CT Scan Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology to join a radiology department on a 13-week travel assignment.

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification and Diagnostic Radiology certification, license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology
• Must be able to perform contrasted and non-contrasted CT studies
• Experience with Cardiac CT required
• Must be able to perform general diagnostic radiology procedures

Responsibilities

• Work in the Diagnostic Radiology department of a hospital setting
• Weekend day shifts Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with an optional Monday night shift from 11:00 PM to 11:00 PM if needed
• Call requirement of one night every second week
• No floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Perform CT scans including contrasted and non-contrasted studies as well as cardiac CT imaging
• Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed
• One day orientation provided at next available date
• Scrub colors must be black or gray
• Holiday coverage during the contract is mandatory unless otherwise agreed upon
• Minimal RTO preferred during the assignment
• Local candidates not accepted
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
