Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification for a hospital-based imaging role in North Carolina. The position requires at least one year of CT experience and current BLS certification.

Completion of the role includes working 3x12-hour day shifts (Wednesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM) with no on-call duties. The technologist may float to any campus within the health system and will work with Siemens CT equipment and PACS. Epic EMR experience is required.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a hospital-based imaging role.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
Current BLS certification required
ARRT CT certification required
Active license required if applicable, must be in hand at time of submission
Epic EMR experience required
Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast preferred
Experience with chest and head/neck CT with and without contrast preferred
Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA preferred
Experience with cervical, lumbar, thoracic spine and musculoskeletal trauma imaging preferred
Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media preferred
Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred
Current driver's license required for address verification

Responsibilities

CT Tech unit within a hospital setting

Preferred experience with neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Work in adult acute care and emergency department settings
Completion of compliance EKG exam required with up to two attempts allowed
Non-billable orientation modules averaging 2-4 hours, with hours varying by unit
Third-party education verification required, with degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list not accepted
No open background check cases permitted
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted
RTO must be submitted with initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
