Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an evening shift in New Jersey. The role requires ARRT CT certification and BLS, with at least 2 years of CT tech experience.

The position involves working in the Main CT department with weekend on-call and holiday coverage as needed. You will operate a mix of Siemens/GE CT scanners and EPIC/PACS/Syngo systems, in a high-volume setting with a strict 1:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required.
• ARRT CT Certification and BLS required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with CTA head/neck perfusion, CT A/P, CTA runoffs, cardiac CTA, CTA chest, and CT head procedures required.
• EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Main CT department with floating required to Emergency Room CT.
• Facility averages approximately 100 CT visits per day.
• Evening shift schedule of 3x10 hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Block scheduling approved.
• On-call required from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM every other weekend.
• Uses Siemens, GE 256, GE 64, and 32 Evo CT equipment.
• Uses McKesson PACS and Syngo imaging systems.
• EPIC charting system experience required.
• Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) based on department need.

• Uses McKesson PACS and Syngo imaging systems
• EPIC charting system experience required

• Ceil blue scrub color required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former RWJBH employees (full time or PRN) must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
