American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma teaching hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT and ARRT Advanced certifications, BLS, and a California license if applicable.

• Minimum 2 years CT tech experience.
• BLS, ARRT CT Certification, ARRT Advanced Certification required.
• Active California license required if applicable.
• Experience with IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies required.
• Experience in abdomen, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular CT procedures required.
• Experience working in Level I Trauma, teaching, and community hospital settings required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full range of CT exams across Outpatient, Inpatient, and ER settings.
• Work in Level I Trauma, teaching, community, and pediatric hospital environments with Adult ICU support.
• Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Exams include CTA, abdomen, pelvis, chest, heart, CT-guided biopsy, spine, chest tube placement, extremities, and facial bones.
• Additional procedures include aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, radiation therapy planning, transplant studies, and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Equipment includes Siemens and Phillips CT scanners.
• Evening shift 3:00 PM-11:30 PM or Night shift 11:00 PM-7:30 AM, 5x8 hour shifts, with shift times varying.
• Every other weekend required.
• Acts as lead and assists in training and mentoring other staff members when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced Certification required
• Active California license required if applicable
• Experience with IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies required
• Experience in abdomen, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular CT procedures required
• Experience working in Level I Trauma, teaching, and community hospital settings required
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred

Responsibilities

• CT Tech department performing a full range of CT exams across Outpatient, Inpatient, and ER settings
• Level I Trauma, teaching, community, and children's hospital environment with Adult ICU support
• Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics
• Exams include Code Stroke, CTA, abdomen, pelvis, chest, heart, CT-guided biopsy, spine, chest tube placement, extremities, and facial bones
• Additional procedures include aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, radiation therapy planning, transplant studies, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Equipment includes Siemens and Phillips CT scanners
• Evening shift 3:00 PM-11:30 PM or Night shift 11:00 PM-7:30 AM, 5x8 hour shifts, with shift times varying
• Every other weekend required
• Navy blue scrub color
• Acts as lead and assists in training and mentoring other staff members when needed
• Must be smoke and nicotine-free and arrive free of tobacco odor
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront and confirmed for the full 13-week contract, as changes are not permitted once submitted
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Return staff reviewed on a case-by-case basis
