Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week day-shift assignment in Wisconsin. The role requires 2+ years’ CT experience and Level II Trauma background, with BLS and ARRT CT certifications.

The CT tech will image across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine and more on GE equipment, with 3x12 hour days (Fri–Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience.
• BLS and ARRT(R) CT certification required.
• WI license required if applicable, with pending licenses considered.
• Level II Trauma experience required, Level I Trauma experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Prior travel experience required, unless candidate has Level I or Level II trauma background.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and venipuncture.
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE.

Responsibilities

• CT imaging in an adult acute care hospital setting.
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• No call requirements; Holiday coverage required.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Performs CT studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac.
• Uses 3D rendering, MPR, ROI post-processing; operates GE equipment.
• Performs biopsies, aspirations, drainage, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA.
• Works in adult acute care, outpatient, and ED settings.
• Travel experience may be required; local candidates considered at lower rate.
