American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Critical Access Hospital in Minnesota. The role requires ARRT(R) CT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience, with strong X-ray and CT skills and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities include coverage across ER, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, OR, and imaging for trauma and orthopedic cases. Equipment includes Siemens 128-slice CT, McKesson PACS, and GE OEC C-arm. Shifts vary (8–12 hours) with weekends and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide CT imaging across ER, inpatient, outpatient, and OR areas
• Stroke-designated facility performing x-rays, CTs, and CTAs
• Handle rapid emergencies and hospital-wide imaging demands
• Operate Siemens 128-slice CT and other imaging equipment
• Use EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS for imaging workflows
• Shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours with start times
• Occasional weekend coverage and on-call as needed
• May float to assist with radiology injections/biopsies with training

• Strong CT skills preferred over mammography experience
• X-ray and CT knowledge/skills required
• May need to operate C-arm in surgery for emergent cases

Responsibilities

• Critical Access Hospital providing coverage for ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR areas
• Stroke-designated facility performing x-rays, CT's, and CTA's
• Trauma cases are common due to proximity to a major highway
• Orthopedic clinic nearby requires joint imaging and procedures support
• Uses EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS system
• Equipment includes Siemens 128 slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C
• Shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours with various start times
• Scheduled by the department director, no self-scheduling
• Works approximately every third or fourth weekend
• Holiday coverage required based on need
• On-call only required if department is short-staffed, with overnight response expected
• May float to assist with radiology injections/biopsies, with training provided
• Perform x-ray and CT imaging across multiple care settings including ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient
• Work alongside a Radiology Director available during weekdays and on-call after hours for emergencies
• One Radiology RN available Monday through Friday
• Approximately one week of department-specific orientation provided
• Environment can be busy and demanding due to high ER and clinic volume
• Success in this role benefits from strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and a helpful, proactive attitude
• Candidates must not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• RTO must be submitted upfront, with no additional time off approved after submission
