Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts in a busy acute care Radiology department. You will float between CT and X‑Ray, handle high patient volume, and operate Siemens Edge 128 and Definition 128 CT scanners with Carestream X-ray units.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CT/Radiography experience, ARRT CT and Radiography (R) certification, a fluoroscopy permit, and a CA Radiologic Technologist license if applicable. Training provided for floating CT/X‑Ray work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R) required.
• Fluoroscopy permit required.
• CA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire.
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Radiology CT/X-Ray department
• Will float between CT and X-Ray as needed
• CT volume of approximately 110-130 patients per day
• Equipment includes Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 CT scanners, plus Carestream X-ray and portable units
• Cerner EMR used for charting
• Varied 10-hour night shifts with start times between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• No call requirements
• Teal scrub color required
• Training provided for candidates without direct CT/X-Ray floating experience
• Candidates who were directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility within the past year will not be considered
• Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
