Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital. Must have ARRT CT and BLS, Epic charting experience, and at least 1 year of CT experience. WA license required if applicable, with responsibilities spanning CT/X-ray across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and neck.

The night shift runs 3×12 hours (6:30 PM–7:00 AM) including weekend nights; patient ratio is 5:1 and no on-call is required. Travel-friendly facility with multiple systems and potential float to sister sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
• ARRT CT certification and BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• WA state license required (if applicable)
• Experience with adult acute care and outpatient settings
• Imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and neck with/without contrast
• Spine and musculoskeletal imaging experience
• Proficiency with isolation precautions, PPE, contrast media prep and IV starts
• Ability to work with patients across all age groups (neonate to older adult)

Responsibilities

• CT and X-ray duties in a critical access hospital setting
• Night shift: 3×12 hours, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend night shifts required (6:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Patient ratio 5:1
• No floating between units
• No on-call required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Equipment includes GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba systems
• Perform CT and X-ray procedures across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck
• May float to sister facilities near the contracted location
• Commit to 3 of the 5 major holidays
• All scheduling requests submitted upfront before offer
• Color scrubs allowed for RN/Allied staff
• No parking fees
• First-time travelers considered; local candidates at lower rate
• Local radius 50 miles rule
• Former employees may return after 3 months if outside 50-mile radius
• Two supervisory references in last 3 years

• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and starting peripheral IVs
• Able to work with patients across all age groups from neonate to older adult

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer
• Any color scrubs accepted for RN/Allied staff
• No parking fees at this facility
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Local radius rule of 50 miles applies
• Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside the 50-mile radius
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
