American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma emergency department in Columbus, OH. The role requires at least 1 year of CT experience and proficiency with Siemens and Epic charting systems.

The position demands ARRT(R) and BLS certifications, and licensing where applicable, with preference for advanced ARRT certification. Candidates should be comfortable with rotating shifts, on-call duties, and travel eligibility for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• Teaching hospital experience preferred.

• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion.
• Work in Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Inpatient, and Operating Room settings.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Work every third weekend; call required once every 6 weeks.
• Perform CT imaging with and without contrast for various body regions.
• Use PACS and Siemens equipment; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain documentation and follow regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Obtain two professional references, with at least one from management; no coworker references.

• Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Accredited, serving a diverse patient population
• Works in Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Inpatient, and Operating Room settings
• Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Works every third weekend
• Call required once every 6 weeks
• Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, chest, head/neck, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Uses PACS and Siemens equipment
• Supports patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
• Maintains accurate documentation and follows regulatory guidelines
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed
• 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager/director or supervisor; charge RN acceptable as second reference, no coworker references accepted
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees of the health system are ineligible for travel positions at this facility
• RTO must be submitted with application and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Candidates must complete mandatory Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract
