Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT and BLS certifications for a Trauma Level III teaching hospital. The selected candidate will work in the CT Scan department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas with 12-hour day shifts, and weekend rotations.

Requirements include 3+ years of CT experience, license as applicable, and Epic EMR experience. Travelers should reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for acceptance.

Responsibilities

• 36 standard hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle.
• Weekend rotation required every Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
• On-call and call-back schedule discussed during interview.
• No floating required.

Requirements

• ARRT-CT and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT
• License required if applicable
• NC State licensure not required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Minimum 12 months of core work experience in unit specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
• Last 4 of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Responsibilities

• Work in the CT Scan department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• 12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• 36 standard hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle
• Weekend rotation required every Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• On-call and call-back schedule discussed during interview
• No floating required
• Uses Siemens and GE equipment with Epic EMR
• Facility is a Trauma Level III teaching hospital with Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center of Excellence, and Bariatric Center of Excellence designations
• 457 licensed beds
• High-volume department with team accountability for patient-centered care
• Support provided by Radiology Nursing and Transport teams
• 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on modality
• Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO subject to manager approval
• Black scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Manager interview required; no clinical interview
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be accepted
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
