Responsibilities

• Long Term Care (LTC) facility setting providing rehabilitative therapy services
• 13-week assignment with day shift schedule (8-hour shifts)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices
• Document patient progress and treatment minutes per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Communicate with supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient progress and treatment adjustments
• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
