American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Lowell, MA. The role requires at least one year of OTA experience in LTC or SNF settings and active MA licensure, with COTA licensure if applicable. Responsabilités

• Long-term care (LTC) facility setting within the Occupational Therapy unit.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts.
• No weekend requirements.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising OT to adjust treatment plans.
• Document all treatment information in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirements.
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings.
• Support and supervise students under OT guidance as needed.
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards.
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested.
