American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week Long Term Care assignment in Missouri. The role requires a COTA license and at least 1 year of LTC or rehab experience, with supervision by an Occupational Therapist.

The position offers day shifts (8 hours) with no weekend or on-call requirements, and includes housing and licensure support, travel stipends, and benefits. Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans.
• Document all treatment information in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirements.
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings.
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics.
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted.
