The assignment is 13 weeks long with day shifts, 8 hours per day, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week. No weekend or on-call duties, supervised by an OT, with documentation in the EMR and potential DME support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative treatment in a long term care facility under supervision of an OT.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising OT.
• Document all regulatory and clinical information in the EMR.
• Record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements and participate in care conferences.
• Assist supervising OT in obtaining DME or supplies; may supervise OT students.
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA standards and state practice acts; no more than 7 days off.

• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system
• Accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other required meetings
• Assist supervising OT in obtaining necessary DME or supplies
• May supervise and support students under OT guidance
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
