American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week Long Term Care assignment in Oklahoma. The role requires at least 1 year of OTA experience in LTC or rehab settings and a COTA license if applicable.

The position features day shifts and no weekends or on-call requirements. Responsibilities include rehabilitative therapy services, ADL retraining, progress documentation, and collaboration with the supervising OT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience in LTC or rehab settings.
• Active COTA license if applicable.
• One professional reference required for consideration.

Responsabilités

• Provide rehabilitative therapy in an LTC facility under OT supervision.
• 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts; no weekends or on-call.
• Administer ADL retraining, exercises, and modalities as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and treatment minutes per regulations.
• Communicate with supervising OT about progress and adjustments.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Supervise and support students under OT guidance.
• Up to 5 days of requested time off during the assignment.
