Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician based in Fredericksburg, VA, performing power washing and cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks at client sites across the Northeast, including D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.

Role requires attention to safety, ability to work independently or in a team, and early/overnight shifts with occasional travel. Requires negative drug test, citizenship proof, valid license, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Prior work at heights, confined spaces, and industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved methods.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-up.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete safety documentation including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Follow all safety policies, including PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.
