Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to service cooling towers and water storage tanks across the Northeast, including D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

You will perform thorough cleaning with power washing equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and complete necessary documentation while traveling to client sites and working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning.
• Prior experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved cleaning methods.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each task.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-up.
• Accurately follow instructions from supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete required safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.
• Read and apply information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) as required.
• Maintain a professional attitude and strong work ethic while representing the company at client sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
