Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to perform thorough power washing and cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks, ensuring safe, efficient operation. This role requires travel to customer sites across the Northeast, including D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, with early starts and overtime as needed.

A high school diploma and prior cleaning or industrial experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved cleaning methods.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each task.
• Read and follow supervisor instructions to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
