Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to perform thorough cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks across the Northeast. Travel to customer sites in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia will be required, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will operate power washers, assist with prep and cleanup, and complete required safety paperwork while maintaining a strong work ethic and professional demeanor at client sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with power washing or industrial cleaning.
• Experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved cleaning methods.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each task.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-up.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Complete required safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Follow all safety policies, including PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.
• Read and apply information from SDS as required.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites.
