Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, Inc. is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to service sites across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. The role requires a high school diploma and prior power washing or industrial cleaning experience, with ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

You will travel to customer locations and follow strict safety protocols. Responsibilities include thorough tower and tank cleaning, safe operation of power washers, and completing safety paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning.
• Prior experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved cleaning methods.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each task.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-up.
• Accurately follow instructions from supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete required safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.
