Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to service client sites across the Northeast, including D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. The role focuses on thorough cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include operating power washing equipment, following detailed instructions, and completing required safety documentation while maintaining a professional demeanor at client locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• Experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved methods.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each task.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-up.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete required safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.
• Read and apply Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) as required.
• Maintain professional attitude and strong work ethic while at client sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
