Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community in Rochester, MN seeks a dedicated cook to prepare hot and cold meals for patients, residents, visitors and staff, and to lead Culinary Services Aides across assigned Benedictine communities.

Travel across Madonna Tower, Madonna Meadows and Summit Byron as needed; follow food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes to support the Benedictine Mission and Core Values in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing hot and cold foods.
• Able to follow diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
• Lead Culinary Services Aides in daily operations.
• Willingness to travel to Benedictine communities within region.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans, and sanitizes equipment and work area.
• Prepares food following safety guidelines and recipes.
• Serves food according to portion controls and diet needs.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values daily.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
