Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community in Duluth, MN is seeking a reliable Culinary Services Aide to prepare hot and cold meals for patients, residents, visitors and staff.

You will lead the Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and actively participate in all culinary training. This position will be required to travel and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.

Qualifications

• Quantity food production experience.
• Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans, and sanitizes foodservice equipment and work area.
• Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
• Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
• Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
