Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to prepare hot and cold foods for patients, residents, visitors, and staff across Benedictine communities as needed. You will lead day-to-day operations and participate in culinary training while traveling within the region.

Role requires 1 year cooking experience in senior care and completion of a food safety sanitation course within 90 days. Benefits include PTO, retirement, medical, dental, vision, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year cooking experience in senior care (SNF or AL).
• Quantity food production experience.
• Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans, and sanitizes foodservice equipment and work area.
• Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
• Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
• Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
