Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Good Samaritan serves as caregiver to residents in long-term care, delivering daily living assistance under RN supervision. You will perform routine nursing tasks, monitor residents, and maintain care plans to ensure comfort and safety.

Located in Bloomfield, NE, this Local Traveler role requires travel within a 75-mile radius, with PRN scheduling and premium pay components, including weekend/evening differentials.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process to obtain certification within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Record vital signs and document interactions and care outcomes.
• Communicate changes to the charge nurse and participate in infection prevention policies.
