Good Samaritan in Miller, SD seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support medications administration within scope of practice.

The role requires CMA/CNA certification per state requirements and at least 3 months in long-term care, with travel to nearby locations within a 75-mile radius. Premium pay applies for evenings, weekends, and additional hours.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Must have CMA/CNA certification per state requirements (CMA for SD; CMA/TMA as applicable).

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Record vital signs and document care outcomes accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by licensed nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises.
