Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance at Miller, SD. You will work under a charge nurse and help with activities of daily living, vital signs, and basic care aligned with the care plan.

Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, document care outcomes, and communicate changes in condition. Premium pay applies for evenings, weekends, and other shifts as outlined.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Satisfactorily completes yearly competency testing and continuing education credits as required by state.
• CMA/TMA certification required per state where employed.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and document outcomes.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and range of motion activities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with meals and dining to enhance the resident experience.
